awesome work! superb figures! I really like the tiny detail of the eyeglasses on the officer and the action implied and portrayed by the scene; inspiring!

Excellent details throughout!! The camo is an interesting look. 2 queries: Maybe a couple more pics cause the ones posted don't show the civilians; and what happened to the bow machine gun??

Hi Sebastian;I first applied a sprayed mixture of Humbrol 053 Gun Metal (80%) and 201 Metallic Black (20%). When well dry, I sealed with gloss transparent (Humbrol, or Model Master). Then I washed with well diluted (in white spirit)mixture of Raw Umber/Burnt Umber/Raw Sienna/Burnt Sienna W&N oils (darker and lighter effect by percentage choice). The final effect (always on well dry surfaces) is done by several, gently rub and polish passages of ear cotton cleaner ("Cotton Fioc").
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Hi Jack; the lack of the bow MG is evident in the original photos of the tank.
All the best.

Only two MGs were fitted to the Panther as standard, the co-ax and the wireless operators position. If the AA MG was required, it was withdrawn from the bow position and mounted on the cupola ring mount.
I like this diorama very much and am familiar with the sequence of photos showing the LAH Panther near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. I'm not sure the crew would be smoking in the presence of senior officers though!
