hey guys heres another dio I have just finished. I have made the tiger vs fury scene out of the movie.
I used the Tamiya 35th scale tiger late production which is pretty much out the box except the Tamiya zimmerit hop up panels, I made some battle damage by drilling holes in specific palces to sim bullet holes and slighty melted the plastic with a soldering iron to give some indents, I also melted the side skirts and mud flaps, added a log on the side as make shift side skirts, and then weathered it up.
my tiger isn't cannon but as the real 131 is a museum queen with out a cratch on it I decided to make my tiger a bit more realistic to the scene rather than having a showroom tiger on display.
the Sherman is the tamniya m4a3e8 easy eight kit which I purchased the legend fury set and added the t88 working tracks as per the movie and thoroughly weathered up fury making her as mucky and grimy as I could, added the logs on the side courtacy of the tree next to my house, adde some rubble and muck in places from being shot at in the town, made the pink rag on the back with tissue paper and pva,.
I used the dragon 1944 us tank crew to make war daddy instead of using the bravo 6 figure as I couldn't get the pose I needed.
the base I used real mud from my local mole hills and mixed with pva glue and made 2 layers to give depth to the mud and now has since dried solid although in the video it looks like the somme. rather than posting a load of pics have a look at the build videos as its easier to post than loads of pics through photobucket.

I suggest posting at least one still photo of the finished dio to build our interest in watching the collected thirty minutes of YouTube videos.
Thank goodness for the fast forward button.
Great work though!
