Hi Gang,
I noticed, after comparing the Trumpeter sprues with my references, that there are two different engine decks. The WWP book shows the same configuration as the kit while Dan Hay`s pics on PrimePortal have a modified deck with larger louvers. Have there been changes during production?

Hans I did a build where I covered most of the changes needed to the base model and I have uploaded a walk around to the site as well. Also I highly recommend the RB Model Barrel for the kit.

The vehicle is powered by a 660hp V8 diesel engine from Cummins, coupled to a ZF Gears Ltd automatic transmission with four forward and two reverse gears.

The Desert AS90 features enhanced engine, transmission oil and auxiliary power unit cooling systems, requiring engine and transmission deck reconfiguration and changes.

New Diehl 940-pin tracks were fitted for better handling in sandy terrain.
