Very nice looking conversions.

I am surprised that AFV Club didn't follow-up with an ARV Mk.2 within their Centurion line.

I'm still waiting for the Cent AVRE, they got the right Cent, & Hush Puppy track, & it was GW1

Very exciting releases, and great to see that the two different roof hatch configurations are now caterered for as well.

I have to be honest that I was a little surprised at the price of these conversions, considering the full resin kits were around the same price (if I recall correctly, they are no longer in AA's catalogue for obvious reasons).

Nevetheless, really nice to see these available now :-)

I have the AA full kit of the ARV Mk II, I'll pass on the latest releases but will wait for the Gulf War version, definitely want that one (scheduled for a winter 2015 release).

I recently bought their ARV Mk I conversion withour interior.

I really do hope they'd make a Centurion BARV conversion eventually!

Cheers,

Christophe

which ones have a Meteor engine? I don't see that being listed on the kits I have looked at.

Can the IDF Shot kit be used? Kit #35159

The Mk. 5/2/6 NATO version, the Mk. 5/1 Aussie version, the Mk. 5 Dozer version, and the IDF Sho't Mk.5/1.

As long as it has the original engine deck you are fine.

Have they not included that engine deck sprue in all their kits, just that you dont use them?

I think you might be right about that. The unused Meteor engine deck parts should be in the Sho't kits as well.

That is correct, the meteor engine deck is included in all the kits (common sprue with other upper hull parts), just not used in some of them, so you can buy the cheapest AFV Club kit for this conversion :-)
