Would they have put the sandbags that close to the commander's cupola?
They'll make traversing the .50cal very difficult.

the idea is that vehicle have an engine failure, and this is the reason why maintenance access panels are removed.
Tom,
as You can see on the pictures below the traversing and visibility are not so important

Maybe Israel needs all the help they can get...especially when it's faced with Hamas's new 'tank'!

This 'vehicle' was present at the funeral of 7 Hamas, peace loving souls, who were just bringing candy to Israeli children through one of their tunnels that happened to collapse, with weapons of course to guard against theft of the candy.
