Got a couple of early 60's Bundeswehr tanks in the paint queue but can't find a Olivgelb paint. Prefer an acrylic paint but will use enamel if necessary. A Tamiya paint mix recipe would be ideal.
Thanks in advance !

Ammo Paint by Mig Jiminez released an acrylic RAL 6014 Gelboliv earlier this year. I've not picked it up yet but plan on using it for my Bundeswehr M7B2 HMC.

Model Masters makes an enamel (2175) RAL 6014 Gelboliv. Additionally, Aaron Spilling’s paint conversion chart matched RAL 6014 up with Tamiya Field Grey (XF-65) – which looks a bit green to me, but you might check it out

For my Canadian Leopard 1A2 I used the following Tamiya paints:
Two parts Tamiya XF-51 Khaki Drab
One part Tamiya XF-74 JGSDF Olive Drab
One part Tamiya XF-57 Buff
I was very happy with the results.

WOW ! Thank you for all of the responses ! That's what I like about Armorama, all the helpful people.
The LHS just started carrying Mig products. I've never used Mig before. But I sure like the idea of mixing my own using the Tamiya colors I already have. Frick's site was interesting. I got to use my high school German from 40 years ago there. But 5 Euro plus shipping and it sounds like it's a lacquer which I've never shot before.
No source for Revell paint's near by.
So I am going to try the mixture, the XF-65 and get the Ammo to and see which appeals to my eye.
THANKS AGAIN for all of you guy's help & tips !
