Hello, at the list of being branded a complete techno newbee I wanted to ask how one goes about posting a avatar photo as I only have the default B&W supplied by the site.

Frank,

Click on SETTINGS (on the upper right corner). Next click on MODIFY PROFILE, which will bring up your Profile Page. On your right you'll see the photos you can update. Select which you want to update and follow the next instructions. Once done go back to MODIFY PROFILE, and below the page click on SAVE CHANGES.
