Following the Panzer IV Ausf. B and Ausf. C, Hobby Boss announces two more ex-Tristar Panzer IV variants. The chosen ones are the Panzer IV/70 (A) Sd.Kfz.162/1and tthe SturmPanzer IV Early "Brummbär" Sd. Kfz.166

If these are re-boxed Tristar, then RUNNNNNNN AWAAAAAAAY. A friend just built the IV/70 from Tristar and it didn't fit well at all.

Nothing wrong with these kits - careful cleanup and alignment of parts is required!

Trumpeter/Hobby Boss did acquire Tristar, and it was stated that Hobby Boss would be the name used for release. It was my understanding that there would be a clean up of the molds, but I have not seen any information as to this occuring. I guess it would be a wait for a review to see if there has been any changes. But based on the boxes, it looks like it may just be a straight re-release.

Agreed.....nothing wrong with these models. Have built several. Fantastic theyre afailable again.

Hopefully they will re-release Tristar German figure kits under the banner.....Tristar figures were great..!
