G'day all, took a couple of years off from the hobbyand easing myself back in with a simple out of the box build - the aged but still very decent Airfix 1/32 Monty's Humber.
First built the kits as a teen and it shouldn't be much of a challenge ... got the body shell together and cleaned up in a couple of hours.
Can anyone advise what colour green was being used on British vehicle in NW Europe post Normandy, and was it matt, gloss or somewhere inbetween? And would the chassis/running gear be the same colour?
I've figured out the front bonnet is a "folder", so I'll need to scribe a line down the centre to represent the hinge, but other than that, I'll just be sticking to the instructions.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah remember it well, my brother built this when we were kids, it includes a figure of the man himself for the back seat. Think the colour is called Brittish SC15 and is apparently very close to US Olive Drab others with better knowledge will hopefully chip in here.

Looks like a fun build! With a couple of figures and maybe an extra vehicle or two this would make for a great diorama.
