Great build Maros. I tried one in 1/72 scale for the UN campaign but could not finish in time. The details sem to be easier in the larger scales. Next campaign will be a larger scale model to make detailing easier. Still following the build.

hi 2002hummer,

I've also tried to build a dutch fennek for the UN campaign but in 1:35 scale. I was not able to finish in time.

This is AWESOME! Interior looks almost real, did you use a microscope to paint it? Great build

Painting process:

As youcan see with the black paint, I had some trouble with my airbrush.By the way I am thinking of replacing my old Iwata, any suggestions?

And finally the unmasking:

Didn't come out too bad. Now on to weathering. The fun part!!!

Great paint-work on the Fennek Marcos- the masking has made it come out really well.

Only some minor leaks from the masking tape. I think I should have left the masking tape on the windows for the weathering process. we'll see.

Hi Ciro. Use the window frames as reference for the length and the width I went with 4 mm. Hope that helps.

With this zoom you see all the imperfections! Still have to set the windshield wipers on front windshield, and paint the ones on side window. The dampers (springs) on front widshield are made from stretched sprue.

Thank you Alex. That is an interesting question. I white glued both doors, and I am thinking of opening one and it would be interesting to know wich one the driver usually uses, to leave that one open.

Going through the weathering process:
Did an AK wash for NATO tanks first. Then some filters with oils:

I go a bit heavy on the oils, but then I take off as much as needed with white spirit in the blending process:

I also did a bit of dry brushing.

I think first I will let my work so far dry completly. Then I will go with some more obvious rainmarks. Then some mud in the lower parts.

Original technique, now the camouflage is shaded off, looks good.

I was thinking about a question. How are the seats when soldiers are like this:

Is the back of the seat pulled down to serve as platform ?

Marcos, excellent scratchbuilding on your windshield! Very well done! A pity no aftermarket company made these so far.

Good start on your weathering ... keep up the good work!
cheers
