The convoy exeptionell sign is attached between the rear lights and covers the grills.

Thanks. I will follow Your suggestion.

And the light...well...it's a standard orange light same as used on forklifts and similar...make sure the lightbulb cover points upwards

The key problem for me is to understand which way the ligt is installed to the top of the turret.

Have a nice Sunday

I wonder if the socket on the left is to be used with the convoy light... :

[quote]David.. are you talking about Humbrol enamels or acrylics. I'd still have to took for a place where I can order them and who is willing to ship them

Hisham,

I am talking about enamels, sorry to hear that you are having difficulty getting paint so I looked up my colour equivalent sheets for some other options. The direct Tamiya equivalent seems to be X28 Park Green but I feel this is way wrong. While I was looking at paint matches for the French Green I found that Vallejo Model Air 71006 Camouflage Light Green was a good match along with either Vallejo 70833 German Cam. Bright Green or 70922 Uniform Green. If I was unable to get Humbrol 80 I would have used Model Air71006.

I logged in to my Hobby Easy account and it looks as if hobby easy will send the paint below are links for each. The colour swatches on each page are nothing like the actual colours.

hope this helps

Hey, David.. thanks for taking the time to do all that checking.

As for Hobbyeasy.. I buy maybe 90% of my stuff from him, but they don't ship paints by airmail anymore, even true acrylics. I buy my Tamiya paints from a buyer I found on e-bay from Taiwan. His stuff is a little more expensive, but he ships airmail and I get them between 3 weeks and a month. otherwise, Hobbyeasy will only ship by surface mail which takes 2 1/2 to 3 months!

Dennis (M4A1Sherman) suggested in a thread I have going in the "painting" forum that I check Cybermodeler.com.. and they suggest XF-26 Deep Green, so I'll try that and see. In the meantime, I made a mix of XF-5 Green and Yellow and it kind of made the green more "vivid".. I'll see how it looks on plastic. Also, for the brown, I made a mix of 2 parts Nato Brown with 1 part Hull Red, and I'll see how that works out.

Anyway, I feel I've hijacked Olivier's thread quite enough - sorry, Olivier

For any suggestions on color matches and stuff, I have a thread going in the "painting" forum.

Thanks to all for your help

Hisham - have you tried shops in Europe? Maybe Sockelshop or Modellbau-Koenig for colors?

Hi.
You should remove the snow from the panel in front of the drivers hatch. You have to remember that it's in constant use, so it's always clean from dust, mud, snow etc.
Also if the vehicle's suspension is in the driving position as in your model, there will be no snow on the engine covers. Engine has to run for quite a while before you can lift the 10RC so the back of the tank is fairly warm.

Regardless of which spots accumulate snow and which don't, I guess you can change those.. but the snow does look good.. what did you use to make it?

Hisham,
I don't know a price of Your source in Taiwan- but I can send You a link to e-store in PL. They sell big bottle of Tamiya acrylics (23ml) for 9,50PLN (about 2,40USD).
Regards,
Michal

Hey Michal.. I pay more than that for the small 10 ml bottles, so if this store doesn't have any problem shipping the paints to Egypt, then please share the link.

Thank you

Hi Hisham,

Just checked out the above site and if this place will ship paint then I reckon you should look at the humbrols I suggested, 80 grass green and 62 leather.
