Wow... Beautiful work sir. This is fantastic. Could you share some tips on doing the mud?

Cheers,
Dustin

Thank you Dustin! Appreciate the kind words! I do have the feature article loaded and it should be published shortly I think. There is some explanation about washes and pigments in there. Basically though, it is done in layers. Depends on what you are looking to achieve...dust, dried caked on dirt...mud. Each application is a little different. Start small and build up. Pigments can be added as washes, in thicker slurry mixes, dry and more. Base mediums for mixing can range from water to thinners with or without additives like plaster, finely sifter dirt and clay to paints and washes. Again, this comes down to what you are looking for in the end. Fire away with questions, there are many techniques uses by everyone, you will find the ones you are comfortable without a problem!

Todd, the weathering came out great. It looks like it was a cold hard winter. Well done.

Todd,

Not to bother you, but any idea when this will be published?

Hey Dustin, no bother at all. The build feature is in the queue awaiting one of the editors to pull the trigger. Let me see what I can do to get the ball rolling...should be soon!
