Could any of our co-modelers from Japan help me here. I need to make a small sign written in Japanese (Japanese charicters) in the proper wording. I have tryed to google it up but can't get it right. Not even sure if it can be done on an Engkish key board. The writing I need should say, north west bunker 27. Thanks to anyone in advance for any help with this. Bob Davis

Mike, Steve, all I get are empty squares. I think the problem is in trying to get it translated with Japanese writing charecters also. I get a translation but with English script charecters. Thanks for trying. bob

Bob,
I'm not sure why google translator doesn't work for you: it gave me the Japanese characters. So all you need do now is cut and paste the characters above.

Bob, I know in my browser I installed Japanese, Cyrillic, and -of course - Klingon, and I can see the characters in the native script. Check options on your browser and see if it lets you set Japanese as a secondary.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll have to get my friend over to check out what's what. When it comes to computers, I am a self proclaimed idiot.

As others above said, you need the Japanese carachter set, and how it is installed depends on your operating system/browser.
As for the translation, I would be *very* careful with automatic translations. They are good to give you an idea of the text but using it is a different thing. Just try to translate from Japanese to English any website and see how it looks...

Thanks for the reminder Carlos, would not want to insult anyone even by accident.
