Building the Academy M48A5...
What would be the proper camouflage colors for the 1970's to the mid 80's for vehicles stationed in South Korea?
Did South Korea based units have their own MERDC camouflage scheme?

Academy's M48A5 is a S. Korean (ROK) version, not a US version. The US one didn't have the side skirts. The biggest issue is the sideskirts though. There are locating tabs along the fenders and the tracks and sprockets were narrowed to fit inside the skirts, which are just added to the sides of the fenders, as opposed to being offset a bit like the actual ROK M48A5 was.
The better bet is to start w/a Dragon M48A3 Mod B and add the A5-specific parts (M68 105mm barrel, top-loading air cleaners, smoke launchers, smoke grenade storage boxes, urdan cupola, loader's M60, etc...).
The US M48A5s in Korea during the '70s and early '80s were in the standard MERDC Summer Verdant scheme.
