Can't wait for this kit to hit the market. The figures even look good, all I will have to do is replace the heads.

product list price(w/o Tax) release JPY/USD USD?
Elefant 4800JPY Jul/2012 79 $61

You may have made a mistake. I believe the new Easy Eight had a list price of 3600JPY, the cost of the reboxed Fine Molds kit is closer to the 4400JPY figures you mentioned.
That said, the SU-76m may indeed cost more than the Easy Eight despite its size.

Don't forget the $40 or so dollars for the obligatory Friules, if they will fit on the Tamiya model.

I don't think this kit needs WM track. The Injection moulded Link and length already seem nicelydetailedwith appropriate sag whilst being easier to assemble the Friul.

I imagine you are correct. The L&L tracks on the Tamiya Pz IIA/B/C took only a little fiddling to look good; all in all probably less effort than making runs of wire pin tracks.

Oh. I thought those were bandies in the pic. So just $30 for a PE set; turned barrel; Hornet heads; etc; etc...
