Nice looking build, but something looks a bit off to me when looking at the left profile. I think the idler o that side sits too far back. Other than that very nice paint scheme and effective weathering.

idler.. it must be weird angle because on both sides they are in same position, that's how tamiya made them

Looks good Richard. It must have very recently been abandoned, since it's not been stripped clean yet and the tracks are still shiny.

A few little details to think about adding next time you build one of these. First, there should be a small section of conduit from the headlight base to the front horizontal plate.

Second, the handles of German wirecutters are made out of bakelite and should be an orangey/burnt sienna color.

Lastly, and this is purely subjective, is the paint on the side rails would show more wear, if the tank ran it's plates for any length of time.

Hope this helps you out.

I like what you've done here and think it's an excellent job. The only thing that sticks out for me is the numbers on the turret. You've done some great weathering and and the tank does look like it's seen some wear and tare. To me the numbers are just too bright given the weathering. A little pastel chalk or pigment on the numbers should take care of that.

Other than that I like it!

Hi Richard,
I'd say your "foot-pump-powered $12 airbrush" worked wonders! Thanks for sharing.

thank you all

Monte numbers were covered with clear and weathered along with everything else
I had to increase color contrast because pics were too dark, that's why numbers look a bit too bright

Excellent job on this one Richard. I really like the camo and weathering. You must get a good workout when you are airbrushing. Tanks for sharing. Best regards....Dale
