Hi guys
I just got the Nikon Cool Pics 4300 Digital camera, and playing around with it. If nothing loads up please check my 'member gallery under Blackwolf. I just noticed that the frame and the upper hull arent togother (easy fix). Please let me know what you think. Scott

Hi Blackwolf-
Very nice Jadgpanther :-) I am impressed - the weathering you have done on the kit is especially realistic. I really like the job you have done on a wonderful subject.
The the only thing that I might change would be to go back and paint the barrel on the hull machine gun all the way back to the ball mount. hehe (nit pick.. I know :-) )
Man, that's all I could find.... believe me.. I looked it over hard :-) Super job!!!!
Make sure you keep posting pics - I'd like to see more of your work!
I'd also like to hear your method of making the long grass..... I don't know how to do that, and would like to try it sometime.... What ever you did - WOW, great method!
Later-
Jeff

Overall this looks realy good, I especially like the wash/drybrush on the wheels and the textured rust on the exhaust. I also like the hay on the barrel..nice touch.
Some thoughts:
I'd paint the inside of the exhausts black from exhaust soot rather than rusty.
I'm not sure about it, but shouldn't the inside of the hatches be body color rather rhan white?
Finally, I'd carry the wash/drybrush treatment to the rest of the vehicle, especially the top of the hull where you have a lot of crevases and corners that would pop right out withthei treatment.

I like the way the grass was strapped around the barrel for camouflage

This is why I love this site!! It took me a long time to do the grass. But if you have the time it comes out pretty cool. Here's how I did it: 1) you need four packets of Woodlans Senics grass what ever color you want 2) take the grass and measure it to the first knuckle (or joint)on your pointer finger and cut the grass. 3)put a good amount of white glue where you want the grass to go 4) stick grass in glue (haha)) repeat steps 2,3,and 4 but make sure you do everything tight to last "clump" that you did, if you dont it's hard to go back and fill in. Let it dry for at least 24hrs. Come back the next day and trim the stragglers, now vaccum the grass this is what really makes the grass stand up (you can also comb your grass to but you wife/girlfriend may think your nuts ) AJaFleche yep your right on the hatches and I totally missed the black soot color in the exhust pipes good call on the wash/drybrush on the top kinda backed off of the top for some reason . This is only my third built model and my first with an airbrush!! For anybody who's just starting just take your time and read this site you will come up with alot of good tips and ideas and above all ask a question or two. Total build time on model and base (ground work not quite done yet) 1 1/2 months. Again I love this site. Scott

Nice Jagdpanther. Looks wonderful, I really like the rust effect on the exhaust, looks good enough to reach out and crumble. Weathering is nice too!
One thing you might consider: using a small pin vise to drill out the end of the bow mg (nit pick also) adds that minute touch of realizm (IMHO).
This is more of an open ended question I though German armor interior was a buff / off white color (though I, too, thought the undersides of the hatches was painted body color or left the chocolate brown primer color?

Okay here I go again putting my 2 cents worth in here ...Nice job for your third kit ..the only thing other than what has already been said that I noticed is the joint between the top and bottom of your kit...you have a gap at the front and on the engine deck ..probably if you snap the front into place it will fall into place at the back too...
