My first real attempt at a dio, the building and road surface are from 'Great North Roads', the vehicles (not in shot yet) are both Tamiya, both with Aber AF, figures will be by Ultracast and Tamiya with some Legend heads.

It looks interesting and I can't wait to see the progress you make. I have tried some figures and I need some work to profect them . What type of paint are gonna use for the stuff you have there now. That was the biggest thing that has stopped me so far. I am glad you have ventured into the next step into modeling.
I was told that this is the most fun part of modeling because you have so much freedom to do what ever you want to do.
Happy :-) Modeling

Hi tom.
I really don't know how this is going to turn out. The painting seems to be a long way off, and so which type I don't know, probably acrylic, with a fair few oils thrown in, and loads of pastels. At the moment I'm just having so much fun building the house timbers etc from balsa. Working in a different medium has 'renewed' my enthusiasm for modelling! I'll keep you posted!

so far so good!
do you have plans for rubble etc? really dirty it up or do you think stuff like that will detract from the over-all effect you are trying for?
can't wait for the finished product!

I hope to put loads of rubble on it, and IN it! The ruin I want to be really dirty, rubble-strewn. But I want the groundwork correct before I start adding this.
