Impressive MP4/4, good work.
My gun tractor is coming along quickly though not as quickly as I had planned due to other commitments.
Major sub-assemblies constructed and ready for primer. Pretty sure the brass front bumper isn't fitted quite right but I lost the original plastic piece so can't compare the two. Also glued some temporary sprue handles in inconspicuous places.
EDIT--- and primed
Unfortunately too wet at the moment to pull my airbrush and compressor out to where I can use it so may not get final paint today

I finally figured out what I'll build: the T-62 with the Verlinden set... Updates are incoming.

That face is pretty impressive Pete. Can't wait to see the whole thing together.

There is something slightly unnerving about the headless body in apparent supplication ("Please won't you return my head to me?") and the disembodied head peering out from the helmet...
Looks great, though--the car AND the [soon-to-be] driver!

To My Fellow Tamiya-philes,
I haven't been on the forum for a bit and WOW! Some amazing build emerging here. Just to run down a few:
Chapman - The Char B1 is looking good, nice build - looking forward to seeing how the new paint set works.
JonDicks - Really nice job on the Citroen. I really like the dust on the lower half. Good job.
Colin - The interior of the Kanonenwagon is moving along nicely.
Nodyy927 - The MP4/4 is coming along nicely and the driver is first rate!
Pave-Hawk - The Quad is looking good. That is something I enjoy, taking an older kit and with a good build, some detail and a nice paint job, they cam look just as nice as some of the newer models.
Overall, this campaign is going to beat the last one in the quality of many of builds. Keep it going!
Thanks,
Stephen

I need some help from you fellow Tamiya mainiacs. I need clear and sharp photo of transporting dolly for V-1. Tamiya kit is missing all handels for ground crew to move that rocket. Haven't found any so far. All help highly appreciated.

Thx for the help, Pete. First pic is the same what I found but you can't see the correct shape or size of the handels from it. Other pic shows dolly, which is completely different compared to tamiya's offering. Guess I just have to improvise.

Thanks Stephen. It's been inspiring to see all the great builds here and so much variety too. Hope to get some french camo laid down this long holiday weekend.

Someone has a 3D printed model of it on shapeways: http://www.shapeways.com/product/KUZFA3M2M/1-16-zubringerwagen-for-v1-buzzbomb
We have an actual V1 in the Military Aviation Museum where our modeling club meets. I don't think it's on an actual Zurbringerwagen, but I'll take a look when I'm out there this weekend. Also, let me know if you need me to take any reference photos of the missile itself. The museum also has a working V1 motor on a "home-made" dolly/test stand. Very impressive when they fire that up.

Interior is done ready to button up. A few small details painted and some metallic dry brushing to highlight the diamond plate, plus some light sand tamiya weathering pigment in the nooks and crannies, that I have had sitting around for about 8 years.
All that's missing is the printed Speedo that came with the photo etch set. Unfortunately it may have been sucked into the vacuum cleaner yesterday.

Hi Everybody
A lot of excellent builds going on here. Made some more progress on my little carrier. I painted the major parts and tried a little fading on the upper areas to break up the monotone.
The lighting in the picture makes it look grey instead of the dark green that it really is. The tracks are covered with a coat of black and will be dry brushed with steel next. Up next is painting the wheels black and assembling the everything together.
