Photos of finished model of Chinese ballistic missile launcher DF-21. It was completed in May 2014.
Model made out of the box, a lot of puttying, sanding etc cause there was a lot of pin marks. But fitting was very good that's why I enjoyed building it. There are not too many photos of this vehicle so painting was done according to instruction. From weathering only some mud and dust were added, of course wash and some streaking.
I hope you will like it.

Hi there,
Greetings from the Caribbean. I love your work, it is an inspiration for those of us that build 5/10 point kits.
The only issue I have is the wheels. I think they should have been a little more dirty especially on the tread part.

Thank you. Yes, you're right that wheels should have more dirt/dry mud on tread. Thank for pointing that.Hi there,

I love seeing this beast built up and painted so well, it looks fantastic. Excellent choice of setting to show it off too and express the size of it.

Teriffic display. The up hull and slight bend in the road adds dramatic action. You can almost hear the strain of the engine as the beast climbs the hill. Very nice job on the painting and weathering as well. Another winner.
