Hello,

Built this mini diorama end of last year. Kit is Zvezda and decided to try the modern russian camo color on it. Used AMMO modern russian armor camo colors. Used oils and pastels for weathering and figures were painted with vallejo acrylics and face with oils paints.

The painting and weathering looks great.Just one question,is this just a prototype or is it one of the BTRs used for base security?

I am glad you like my model.
Even I was intrigued by the lack of references (I failed to find any picture of this variant in google) in internet for this variant of BTR-70. Russian armor experts , please chime in.
