It will be interesting to see are these actually new colours or just rebranding of existing AK colours. Even a slight shade difference from an existing product would be nice...

Hard to have an opinion from photos, but of course this is good for the beginner to intermediate modeler who wants "one stop shopping." There is often such a debate about whose paints and which colors. This takes the doubt and anxiety out of it.

Or it will be another reason to raise the price. It seems when Meng puts its name on something, the price goes up. I used to read AFV Modeller magazine, as soon as it became Meng AFV Modeller, the price went up.

I think many of us are getting much too anal about the "exact" colour of AFV's and such. How many of your modeling buddies look at your newly finished build and say.."hey man, that colour is WAY off..."! And SgtRam is dead on about the price hikes...

There is no such thing as 'the right shade'. My motorpool on any given day has multiple shades of CARC Sand. Some bleached near white..some almost looking mystard....any several in between.

I bet it is just rebranding of existing products.

Which matches what we can see in photos. There is no "right" exact shade of any colour

My bet is, they will "research" the colors, change them slightly, add some drops of pretext scale effect compensation, and then "we will have to buy them too".
Of course the increased price others mention comes on top of that, it's needed to be the coolest modeller and to pay for the "development costs".

sgtsauer is dead on! My four Bradleys in 1987 were all overall dark green but each was faded quite differently. NATO three tone camo on our later M2A2s faded in many different ways....we definitely need stop being hung up on color. On another note....I had Meng AFV Modeller in my hand last week but refused to buy it for 15.99. I bought to other model mags instead. I might pay $7-8 for it but not double.
