With a figure you can see hoe "big" Bertha is:

Looking forward to see more

The story will be placed in 1918. Just before the end of the war, american troops take this gun Position from the Germans. The gun was send to america after the war.

Looking good so far. It is a big beast for sure. One suggestion, I would change direction the troops are marching. The gun would be facing towards "The Front", so the troops would be more likely approaching from the left, and moving to the right in your scene. Will definitely be following along. One question, who makes the German soldier that you have standing next to the gun? Al

That gun shield doesn't look like it was effective against any return fire such a gun would got.

I think the shild was only to stop small fregments of gun fire and small fire arms. No gun shild would ever holds again a direct hit.

Figures are looking real good, as is the gun. Been on the fence about getting this one ever since it was first announced. You've convinced me, mine is on the way. Looking forward to seeing more of your build. Al

Thanks guys. I use only for the faces oil colours. I painted the faces with Tamiya colour, then added some oil paints, remove them after 2-3 minutes and then drybrush the faces with skin colour.

More Pictures with the complete camo:

It´ll take some time to paint the gun in that camo. It´s a long way to tipperary, but in the end, everything will be cool (I hope).
