Jealousy rears its ugly head. Great job! I have one question. Are the shell casings supposed to be bronze or copper?
thanks, they are supposed to be bronze.
when I painted them I did not have bronze so tried to mix the copper I had to something bronze alike
They should be brass not bronze !
Nice clean build though
yes exactly they should be brass
thanks

Alexander-
Great build so far - the painting looks excellent. Just two small things you might want to correct before closing up the interior. First, the radio operator's seat was metal so it should be painted elfenbein. A leather pad was fitted to the bottom of the seat so that can be left painted brown:
Second, the cylindrical equilibrator located under the main gun was painted a dark color - I believe black, although it could also have been red primer:
Hope this helps - keep up the good work!
Thank You for your support, you are right the radio operators seat is metal, I know that before I painted but I could not find the original padding anywhere and I thought the metal edges might have been padded too to provide more comfort.
I already closed up the interior as the pics I am uploading are a bit old. I am not about to start the muddying of the tank
I appreciate you pointing this out about the equiliberator and most properly you are right, I based it on what I found as pic online either by other builders or by real tank interior pictures. I will post in a bit what I have. thanks
