This is a build log for German Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H (Trumpeter 00920). This tank will be part of the 5th SS Pz.Rgt. Wiking, Khrakov 1943. Scale 1/16.

Jealousy rears its ugly head. Great job! I have one question. Are the shell casings supposed to be bronze or copper?

thanks, they are supposed to be bronze.
when I painted them I did not have bronze so tried to mix the copper I had to something bronze alike

thanks, they are supposed to be bronze.

They should be brass not bronze !

Great build so far - the painting looks excellent. Just two small things you might want to correct before closing up the interior. First, the radio operator's seat was metal so it should be painted elfenbein. A leather pad was fitted to the bottom of the seat so that can be left painted brown:
Second, the cylindrical equilibrator located under the main gun was painted a dark color - I believe black, although it could also have been red primer:
