I'm thinking about adding a crewman to the Takom M9 I've just ordered: the only clear picture I have been able to find is of a chap wearing what appears to be a Parker type jacket.
On operations, would the vehicle's operator normally wear an ACU and MICH helmet or AFV crew coveralls and helmet?
Many thanks

I found a picture of a M9 driver in ACUs with a tanker's helmet. I had some left over figures from a Trumpeter Stryker that fits the bill.

You can use any modern tanker figure to be an M9 crewman. They wear the same gear. Usually they will have a NOMEX CVC (Combat Vehicle Crewman) jumpsuit, DCU/BDU, or the more modern NOMEX two-piece ACU uniform. Their headgear will be a CVC helmet, not normally a Kevlar or Mitch helmet.
