Very nicely done. Really like the extras you added, gives it some color to breakup the OD green.

Fantastic work - man after my own interests!
WHERE did you get that Transatlantic oil can????
I found my fire extinguisher but I have never seen a sweet little detail piece in 1/35th like that oil can.
Gotta add that to my hard cab wrecker!!!!!

Hi Jacob,
It looks great have you considered sharing more images for a photo feature?

Looks like everyone including Plus Models is out of the Oil Tins set. However Military Miniatures Warehouse says they have some in stock so the Tins are now on order and we will have to wait and see.

Inspiring stuff, thank you for sharing.
What was the most difficult part of the assembly proccess? I too have the kit and I am a little intimidated by the crane assembly.

That is astonishing workmanship! I have the Diamond Dump Truck in que and now I have something to benchmark my work from. That bar is really high!
I'll have to see about getting one of those accessory sets as well. That's the first thing that really caught my eye and made this build stand out.
This is beautifully finished indeed!

Really have to stop looking at builds as great as yours, they give me too many ideas, and an almost uncontrollable urge to add another kit to the stash. Thanks a lot, next time try not to do such an outstanding job and inspiring others to want to do the same.

Thank you all for all the nice comments. It's always good to know, that ones work inspires others, because that's what's this is all about.
Nikos: The construction of the chassis is actually quite time consuming with around a billion parts. I build mine in sub assemblies; the chassis with the drivers cabin, the crane and the load bed. also the wheels were painted and weathered seperatly.

Great looking build! Love the oil staining, dust, and especially the .50. It looks so realistic, I feel I should have to clean it. The oxygen bottle and jerry cans look real and well-used... and I love the Transatlantic oil can
Simply Fabulous!

AGREE, 100%!!!
Your weathering is JUST RIGHT! That's the look that I impart upon my 1/35 AFVs and Soft-skins. (My HO Steam Locomotives, as well)
I don't believe in "OVER-weathering", either. Just enough to be convincing, without having the model looking like it was dropped into a mud-hole, followed by being nearly covered by a dust storm! That stuff is for the birds! I'm firmly convinced that "less is more"...
VERY NICE WORK!!!

Jacob, that is an outstanding build! What did you use for the cables on the towing booms?

Thanks once more guys
Terry: It's the nylon thread provided in the kit, but be aware that the length of string is just barely enough, so do measure it before cutting it
