That's probably true of most this series of half-tracks, regardless of brand....but at least he (and we) will know what a nice job is down there!
I don't feel bad about short-changing the AFV kit's interior because I put some effort into the Dragon 251/2 I did for the 250/251 campaign. I even got in the driver without amputating his feet.
Which you definitely can't see, so I could have had Lieutenant Dan Taylor driving for all anyone would know.

Here are some pics of where I am. As you can see, not very far. Cleanup for the strut removal is tough as it's a very tight spot and my eyes and hands are not too good. I am currently using sandpaper taped to a wood coffee stirring stick as normal sanding sticks are too thick to fit.
Before removal:
After removal:
I did buy a bottle of CA glue today so I might try making the drive sprockets. This will be my first try at photo-etch. No bending for this though.

Decals on!
Looks like I'll need a lot of micro sol to get them to settle down.
Next: paint the tracks and weathering.

Daniel, I thought you'd finished the UHU. Or is this UHU2? The chipping looks great - not too much - just right.
The decals did not settle down on the M36. I think the Bison/Star decals are sealed with a matt film which isn’t the best. Sooooooooo
I scraped them off and resprayed…
I’ll hand paint the slogans on over the weekend. It looks as though the Croats that captured this tank from the JNA back in 1991 did pretty much them same themselves.
Cheers

My AFV Club M5A1 Stuart for this campaign!
...
Thanks for watching...
While it is an excellent build, I won't allow it. You never posted a starting picture. You weren't enlisted in the campaign last time I checked. It's like you are showing up at the Finish Line of a race saying "I'm done" and we never even knew you were in it. You say "Thanks for watching" but we never even had a chance to do that.

Beautiful Hornisse, Colin.
Progress with the M36 continues towards the finish line. It has a few nasty sink holes inside the turret, and one of them will be visible. This one...
So I have covered it up….
It is a 1991 issue apparently so is historically accurate…
Hope to get this finished possibly by tomorrow evening
Cheers

Daniel, your UHU is coming along beautifully, especially considering it is such a quick build.

Hi,
Amazing models, guys!
@Gary,
Will there be some extra time? I'm afraid I will not be able to make the model in time.

Looking good, Matthew! Hmm, I used to have a Coffee Press made by Leeds.
Every one else, only 5 more days to go!
As for extensions, that will depend on how close some of you are to finishing. I might extend it for a week, but that's all.

I took a few pictures of the M36 outside this morning. Better light.
And this is the tank it’s supposed to represent..
The WWII era M36 found its way into he Yugoslav National Army in the late forties / early fifties. Amazingly they were still serviceable in the 1990s. “Cro-Army” was captured by the Croatian National Guard from the JNA in 1991. I don’t know any more about the AFV than that.
Gary, thanks for a great campaign. I enjoyed it immensely
Cheers
