Hi Guys,

I'm in the middle of building a very old Bandai 1/15 Hummel RC kit.

I wonder if anyone has detail pictures for the gun area ?
I would like to see how was the hydraulic was attached and where are the lenses of the scope located.

I have attached the area in questions in this post.

Thanks for helping out.
Ben~

Correct, this was part of the gun, not the vehicle.

Maybe this one helps:

Another couple of walkarounds:

Ben-

This is the best pic I know of that shows the Hummel's gunsight actually in use. It comes from my ancient (1970s) edition of "Nashorn, Hummel, Brumbaer in Action" by Feist and Spielberger. Note that the gunner's aperture points to to the left and rear at about a 30-degree angle - not directly to the rear as you have shown on your model. On the other hand, the gunsight lens does point directly to the rear - since the Hummel was an indirect fire weapon the gunner sighted at aiming stakes pounded into the ground to the rear of the vehicle and calculated the distance and angle to the target using the known position of the aiming stakes. Hope this is what you need.

PM me your email and I will zip up and send my saved AFV Interiors pages on the Hummel. There are a couple of mixed up or missing pictures I'm afraid but also some good ones of the sights.

Thanks for helping out Kevin. Now your picture kinna freak me out. Based on the picture you supplied that mean red circle marking part has to be turned 180 degrees and blue circle part needs to be 30 degrees like your picture ?
