Nice box art!
Kind of cheeky to put a Panzer III along with it, I like it.

Finally something fresh from Dragon - sort of fresh, Panzer III with a couple of new sprues. Interesting they announce this shortly after Tamiya's SU 76 release. Still, if Dragon hasn't screwed this up, it should be a nice kit.

Christophe, for those that know Ron Volstad, he is kind of cheeky! I handed him all my SU-76i reference a month ago, glad to see the final result.

I was harassing poor Ron last August about the SU-76i. I know he has no say on what they produce but it irked me that they had a nice PZ III chassis and this would be reasonably easy kit to build on. I predict that they will do a copula version later.

Glad to see this. Wehrmacht wasn't the only ones to put captured equipment to use.

What?... Not SU-76M, but SU-76I and hardly a brand new kit - just a new sprue or two added to the old Pz.III kit...

Great...I finally broke down, bought and built the SU-76i using aftermarket resin conversion kits and they finally decide to release it in plastic. YOUR WELCOME EVERYBODY!

You may actually end up with something more accurate, who knows... New plastic is not necessarily better than older resin.
Are you using the Komplekt Zip sets?

Don't feel too bad. There's a guy in Russia who is in the final process of releasing his newly done resin conversion. He's going to take a huge hit.

A lot of odd variants coming from Dragon lately, nice to see one I'm actually interested in. Interested enough to overcome my aversion to Pz. III DS tracks, even.
Edit: Does anyone have any idea where to find more info about this vehicle, any books or webpages that mention it, anything regarding how/where it was used and by what units? Some quick googling doesn't turn up much, mostly World of Tanks stats. According to wikipedia (famous last words) most conversions were of tanks captured in the wake of Stalingrad and used throughout 1943.

I thought that most of the Panzer IIIs used for this conversion were captured at Stalingrad in early 1943, so some would have had winterklettern installed.
