Hello There:
I just finished the base color and decal for this LMW. Honestly...the fit of the kit has no big issue compare to old ITA kits..but some details are still too soft and it takes you lots of time to clean the flash and modling seams. The use of slide mold of the engine cover makes a big seamline between the headlights and upper engine cover. AKA..you need to trim it off to show the correct shape of that area.In addition. you also need to find yourself a good M2 and FN to change what kit offer you. Same to the headlight..pity that no one makes the headlight set fro LMW yet..hope there will be one...Will try to spare some time to do the weathering. Oh last thing.....If you want that beautiful Iveco logo visible...be better let the protector off... some parts like antenna and machine gun mag are not mounted for weathering purpose.will glue them on after weathering.

Looks good so far. It's a good base for weathering. Take care of the shiny look of the rubber tires.

nice clean build! dirty those skins, and toss some grey pigment on there and wham bam thank you mam.

How did you do the camo? stencils or free hand? hand painted? or air brushed?

Long waited kit but not a real year 2000 kit, details are so weak that there is no way to upgrade the kit in any way.
Just build OOB and it looks like an LMV. Italeri has not made a nice job, even if the kit has everything in the right place. Trumpeter Pumas are much better. Disappointed

Nice job. I have this kit in my stash and I am very satisfied about it. Details are good and instructions are better made than the ones of their old kits.

Sure it will be easier to built than the resin model from MMK Models I have finished last year.

I'm not agree with the last comment: there are always something to update on a model, it is enough to want it.
I'm not agree to say that chinese models are the standard of modelling. They are not perfect even they have an impressive number of parts.

Let agree to disagree. We all have our standard on the model kit, italeri indeed improve lot. But not enough. With this price we expected more.

Just give it a little time and someone like DEF or another aftermarket will be coming out with a resin and/or photoetch upgrade set.

Def already has the wheels set. But I mounted the replicant one on.

I have to say Zhu that you've got a real nice piece there. The neatness of the camo and the colors look spot-on and you've picked out the details very nicely. I'm looking forward to seeing the weathering- what sort of weathering are you going for?
