I don't care either as long as it makes up for the insane disappointment the Dragon kit ended up being.

Let's remember that DRAGON's Conqueror was a product of their BLACK PLAGUE division, which is NOTORIOUS for screwing up anything that they touch...

Where are the upper hull parts necessary for the Conqueror's middle mounted turret?

While the conversion looks straight forward, you have to back date the hull to prototype spec, which would be much easier with a MK1 hull than with a MK2 that have done. I recommend the Tankograd book on the Conqueror and study the photos of the Caernarvon for differences.

Mark, do you own a copy? I'm wondering, how many photos of the Caernarvon does it have? are there any of it running without the side shields? I'd like to know, because if it does, I'll get one myself.

Hi have any of you built the amusing hobby conqueror or fv215 yet?

I've had the dragon conqueror and just finished the amusing hobby fv215, which has the same lower hull as the conqueror (which i also have and am about to start soon).

One very obvious difference between the dragon one and the amusing hobby one is that the amusing hobby kits actually ride a bit higher than the dragon one.

So i wondering which one has the suspension at the right height?

Just curious.

Are road wheels in the AM kit smaller than the ones in the Dragon kit? They should be, Dragon kit wheels were over-sized.

The AM kit road wheels areindeed smaller.

but the suspension mounts seems to be either longer or mounted lower than the dragon kit hence the whole chasis of the am kit rides higher (meaning more ground clearnace) than the dragon one.

looking at the commanders copola of AH, they have put the mark 2 on the mark 1 as the sheilds for the commanders ranging sights are on top of the mark 1 for opening them and on the mark 2 from the side.
refrance book is the Tankograd on Conqueror
