Never saw figures by them before.. are these new figures, or did they re-box some old figures by another manufacturer?

Is Eastern Express even still in business?? The last models I got by them I couldn't even give them away! Even the garbage pick-up left them at the curb!

yes, they are alive. it is said that the sculpture is done by Bleskin, famous Russian sculptor.
and figures produced by the part of MiniArt team that decided to stay in Crimea...maybe a rumor...

Thanks for the link to that video, Roman... can't say they're some of the best I've seen.. but they're not total garbage either.. they can be built into something acceptable

Soviet cavalry in winter gear, certainly very different. Originally Eastern Express was a packaging and distribution concern of other companies molds. Only later did they do a few of their own pieces. Most of the stuff they did can still be found under other labels. The KVs and BT-7 are available from Ark.
Some of us like this stuff. Chunky parts mean less tweezer launch.

I think you could make some figures out of these. I actually like the marching figures shown in Paul's post. I'm going to look for these.
