What kit did the interior come from?

The first generation Dragon Abrams kits came with a partial interior; driver area and upper turret details. They are really good to use as a base for a full interior. I have used a few to do full interiors from them; see my
M1A2 SEP w/full interior for details. I still have a few of the interior sprues to use on future projects as well.

Well had fun over the weekend completing the drivers tub. Lot of assumptions to make it look busy but it sits well once its closed up.

The driver's area looks good. Great job on it. I can't wait to see the rest of your interior.

No just a bit of surgery to the underside to get over the wheel arms in the lower hull.

With the preshade done and dry it was with the main event - I mixed a quantity of Tamiya Dark Yellow with a tad of gloss white as the base sand colour this was lightly sprayed over the main areas.
For even more contrast I added more white to certain areas that catch more of the sun.
Over the top of this I spray a coating of Tamiya Clear yellow diluted with Pledge Varnish to blend the colours in and create a semi gloss finish for the washes. The washes were done with MIGS dark brown and brown in localised areas and streaks were added to the vertical surfaces.
For the plow I wanted this to be battered and well used so this was initial sprayed Nato green before applying the above over a coat of hairspray - this was then removed in certain areas to expose the green below - certain areas were then polished with MIGS Graphite powder. An was then added to certain areas and some pigments added.

The same was done with the turret this was then preceded with some light chipping to well worn areas..
