Scratch me a PZ III Sig 33
Gonna try to slap this together.

Heres what I got to work with.
A PZ III Chassis

Sig 33 parts , will also use Evergreen sheets & pieces

A bold project!
The instructions for the Sig33 on Pz II might be of use regarding the inner details like ammo stowage etc.

Hmmm. I would like to see at least one more photo of that vehicle. I have seen models of it but I still have doubts. Good luck.

1st picture to me the gun shield looked contrived, but second batch does tend to support the idea of the conversion, must have been done by the same crew that produced the pzII sig33. ...Good luck.

I take your word for that. I can only assume that the conversion involved cannibalizing a PzII Sig33 judging by the similarity of parts....

The PZII version is known as a Bison. This is a PZ III chassis with a Sig 33 mounted in it. I believe this PZIII version was rigged up prior to the Bison but I am not 100% on that. I also believe the Bison was factory built...these PZIII's were rigged in North Africa by their crews...Panzer Tracts has mentioned this vehicle.
This vehicles actual name is:
15cm sIG 33 B auf Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf H also part of Rommels funnies.
Someone actually built one already in 1/35

If you wanna try this too you can use cheap kits.
Alan makes a cheap sig 33 kit, it comes with extra ammo

A cheap Dragon , probably Gunze Sangyo mold aka Imperial Series kit
