Before I jump into Dragon #6287, I have a question for the experts. Would it be appropriate for me to build the 8.8cm type 37 with the pressed shield. Also, did this combination ever exist?

What do you mean? Are you asking if DML 6287 8.8cm Flak 37 is correct with the angled shrapnel gun shield? It is correct. http://www.network54.com/Forum/47207/thread/1126341740/DML+88mm+FlaK+37+kit (some fantastic pics to download!)

If you're adept with PE, I'd recommend your getting the Lion Roar set too. The PE the Lion Roar set contains for the SdAnh 202 bogies is phenomenal.

This is a nice article. The combination I want to use is not shown in the unit designation photos. LOL, we know that Dragon could improve their instructions. I am looking forward to building the type 37 with pressed shield.
