Getting ready to join the hull halves. Enormous gaps to fill on this model, lots of pre fitting and a warped upper hull are a problem. No sense to keep the front hatches open since their is no detail on the inside hatches of the hatches.Overall a nice model on a rather obscure tank.

slow progress on this build. Constructive feedback appreciated. I filled in the huge gaps adequately.

I am not sure how to post these photos...sorry, it is not my intention to annoy anyone. I have spent hours trying to properly post pics of my models. Track brown MIG pigment applied to tracks without fixer

Sorry for this reply so late...
Try to incorporate antenna, as that is one thing Germans incorporated in those tanks. If building early war tanks, it should be placed on front left bumper, otherwise, it should be on the rear right end of the tank.

my intention is to portray this tank as it may have been at the beginning of operation Barbarossa 6-22-41.

I am up late because I work 12 hour night shifts thanks for the help. I do have some German brass antennae from years ago. I will try to make an antenna mount.

this is a good indication of how antennae was positioned ' regular antennae was on tripod, easy to scratchbuilt.
cheers,

Thanks for the updates on your build, David. This tank is on my short list of purchases. I find the French tanks developed in the interwar years to be very interesting, especially their camouflage schemes. I plan on building all of the available models in the next few years. Your build looks great so far!

Thank you I avoid camouflage because so far I lack the talent to apply camo to my models via airbrush

Taking a long time to complete this model nearly done. Trying to portray a backwoods anti partisan patrol in Yugoslavia. No sled....meh.
