That looks very nice.. you really know how to paint with brushes.. I could never get a finish like that with a brush!
They released their first two kits, the French VAB and AMX10, in July 2015.. which are also two very nice kits.

it's a fairly new company based in Hong-Kong

Indeed a speed-build, Pete! Aren't those shackles should be painted in glossy black?

Years of practice with enamels, I've not long started using acrylics. Where I live I can't use an airbrush.

About those parts that are painted red on IDF vehicles, is there a rule to go by? A lot of times I'll see parts painted red on one build.. then I'll see the same parts not painted red on another build.

Most of the IDF builds I've done have the red handles so I've carried on.
I also need to apologise, I looked at the decals earlier in the build and thought they were correct. I was wrong they are still incorrect.

On modern IDF tanks handles are painted in the main color, towcables and schakles in glossy black.
APC's and atillery pieces vary: generally, handles are painted red, schakles and towcables glossy black. Having said that, there are APC's with red schakles and towcables (some Bardelas's and Achzarits), but in case of the Nagmachon, I would paint the handles in red (maybe not all of them), schakles and towcables in glossy black. In my Nagmachon build, l only painted the large handles in red, leaving the smaller ones in the main color. l like to think that the infantry and the artillery clowns paint all the handles in red, because otherwise they wouldn't be able to find them...

The mistake was spotted (by my wife) after application, l left it like that. I did dropped a mail to Tiger Models, but never got an answer. I hoped they corrected the mismatch, but apparently they didn't (or your kit is from an early batch...).

It's looking good.. just give it a little dusting and it'll pop out.
By the way, that sort of triangular basket on top of the rear deck.. did it go in place for you without any problems at all? I think I might be getting too old for this hobby

Funny enough that was one of the parts I wasn't looking forward to, but I took my time and it went together quite well. The worst bit was all the feet.

The problem is that the base "triangle" came with a break in one of the sides, so I started out with a weak part... but I agree about those "feet" with the holes in them.. with the two feet towards the front, I shaved off the two rivets on both sides so that the feet would fit on top of the holes in the deck.. I eventually got it to sit right, but I think they did it in a strange and difficult way.. too many "variable" parts at the same time... It's definitely not an easy build, but I'll stay after it

If memory serves me correctly the bottom one on mine was broken. I left it as was until the rest was solid then glued it together.
I really wasn't looking forward to the bar armour either but that went together well as well.

Guys, I've finally got one of those magnifying lamp thingies. It was invaluable for fitting chains and shackles to the Nagmachon. My apologies for the image size.
