I couldn't find any photos of operational vehicles with good detail about the crew uniforms.
Due to the date when the A2 was introduced (1961 AFAIK) I assume that the WWII style uniforms and helmets were already replaced.
If I am right, does anyone know what helmet was used at the time by the Marine tank troops?
Thanks!

By the time the was in service, the tanker's helmet was the bone dome. The same one-piece, motorcycle-looking helmet as used in Vietnam. The below Valkyrie set would work for the time period.

The US Army wore the OG-107 fatigues. Elvis Presley wore this style of uniform. If I remember, the early version had open cuff sleeves, the left breast tape had US ARMY in black with gold lettering, white name tag above right breast pocket with last name in black letters. The fatigue hat was like stiff hats during the Korean War.Just Google US Army fatigues 1960's for good images.

If you are talking about USMC utilities, we wore a black eagle, globe and anchor on the left breast pocket with no name tapes. The uniform cap was same as the WW2 version but stiffened by starch. Just Google USMC utilities 1960. We call them utilities, the Army called the work uniform fatigues.

I used the original Tamiya M1 Abrams Tank Commander figure for my M103A2 TC.

I changed the head for a Hornet Vietnam ERA CVC Helmet head.

The look of the figure uniform fits the OG 107 and USMC Utilities for that era.
