Have been looking around and still trying to do a tank that may be there but not seen ( read thread)
I was thinking about doing turret numbers for my Panzer 3L 416 or 423 or 513 can any one rule any one of these numbers out. A reason would be good as well or pic ( if you have one) of the numbered vehicle
Thanks in advance

Just finishing off this build before painting. I have noticed that Tamiya don't show in the instructions the little hooks on the top on the hull near the back corner sections of the turret corners. The weird thing is they do have it on their box art and the parts appear to be in the kit. Has anyone else noticed this?? Link of hooks I am talking about below.

I was setting up my build and dropped it. Most of the etch and suspension broke off.

Little update

Primed lightly and loose parts added

Do the tanks fire extinguisher have a label on them?
What colour are the extinguishers, khaki green/tan or are they painted the same colour as the tank?
My tank will be German grey with white wash so just wondering about extinguisher colour for it.............. any help would be great

They would sometimes get over-painted with camo applications, or even left in red.

They do have labels. I have a set I got from Archer Transfers a while back and I'm sure someone else makes a set. A little trickier than kit decals but they look the business when you get them on.

Alliance model works produced a set of decals for the fire extinguishers, they are very good indeed.

Your build is looking rather great at the moment, looking forward to seeing it progress further.

You're making me rethink my intended camo, with your grey looking so nice.

More questions ...........sorry
I am trying to find after market machine guns for turret and hull but need some help to find the best.
Also there seem to be different types in the pics below are they all correct for this type of tank.

Anyone got some ideas and also better close ups of them off and on the real tank

Same gun(mg34). Same housing. I would recommend Aber, as it has the right type of jacket. If you prefer resin, I believe Live Resin makes for a nice barrel. Just snip it off and insert it into the housing.

I think some of the barrels are different
Has someone got a diagram/drawing of the gun from a side profile. I think I have seen some somewhere

The top barrel is the one you want.

I believe the second to last barrel is correct, for the hull.

This also appears to be a useful set and you get a lot more decals than other sets
Including decals for Fire extinguishers, Grenades and many other cool stuff which is hard to paint by hand in 1/35

Also nice pics of German fire extinguishers in this thread if people want to look or save them

Just starting to weather the grey a bit with oils to make it not so grey
You can see the difference between top and bottom where I have started it
