The weathering is coming out very nice. It breaks up the gray very nicely.

Can the top hatch pads be either black or brown leather ???
I am tempted to paint the Jack block a wood colour but I think I might just paint it the same colour (German grey) as the tank. Would I paint all the straps German grey as well???...are the straps leather or made of thin metal??

I was under the impression they were usually black.
As for the wood block, I guess it could get oversprayed like the tools and such do when the vehicles got repaints, but I would probably add flecks of wood showing through to simulate chips and scratches from use and abuse.
As for the straps, I think many of those were metal as leather would most likely wear out too quickly.

RB Model makes cheap and excellent mgs armored & unarmored co ax. (which is missing) Try Hobby easy, they re great with service too!
