Hi, Hisham!
YES!!!
Perhaps TRUMPETER may follow on with other HEMTT-types in this vein..? Would be nice if they did... (A disclaimer follows...)
Please, EVERYONE:
I am neither implying that TRUMPETER will be doing any such thing as "following on" with subsequent HEMTT-type vehicle kits, nor am I trying to start any un-founded rumors. I was merely asking a hypothetical question...

Nice! The PLS has to be right around the corner. I'll hold off in hopes that we see it, before I buy this one.

Bonjour Hisham, did you get the scale in which they'll release it?

Bonjour, Marc... it's in 1/35 scale... they already have the M983 tractor.. and they already have a 20 ft container (which I assume this is on top of it)

Of course it will now that I am scratch/converting one. You are all welcome.
I do like the container handling equipment on it though. I wonder if they will do a flatrack version too?

Hi, Gino!
JEEZ! Don't it figure? Happens to me EVERY STINKIN' TIME! Usually, AFTER I've built something of which there is no kit of, and/or just as I'm placing my latest scratch-build, conversion, or kit-bash effort into one of my display cabinets!!! AHRGH! Whatta ya gonna do? That seems to be the way of the world... Serves us right for taking matters into our own hands and not waiting for an extra couple of weeks, doesn't it?

I GIVE UP!!!

Gino, if it helps your moral, you are the 1st person I thought of when I read Hisham news.
So everyone, if you want something done by any companies, try to get Gino to begin scratchbuilding it
ps: and Thank you Hisham :-)

Hey, hey, hey, my references paid off, again. I wonder when the M977 and M978 will be coming?
I always wonder what is so interesting about a 20 ft container? Better loads will be one of the 3 flatracks, M7 FRS-H or tank module.
CAD Images mean nothing.
What does a rivet counter count on a cast or welded tank hull?

All of us average modelers owe a LOT to you "martyrs of the scratchbuild", without your sacrifices there would be a lot fewer interesting models for us to buy. Keep up the good work!

no, it is too small for that, but I have seen it carry Humvees and MRAPs. Tank transporting is a job for the M1070.

The box art has been released. It should be soon now. It also looks like it does not have the Container Handling Unit (CHU) as was originaly shown in the test builds.

Apparently the kit is available. It is starting to show up on eBay; way over-priced, but there.

Still no CHU included in this kit as originally promised. Would be great if they offered the CHU and the loading guides as an "add-on" AM kit!
Here is my version:
