The single link at the bottom of page 2 works but no model photos post into the thread itself. (For me at least.)
The Patton Museum photos are the only ones that show up but thanks for the link as a work around.

I'm sorry guys , but I tried.
It's funny, though that the pics. always disappear after a while.
I'll have to start placing links at the end of my builds so you can at least access the pics.

Donald, I am just reposting one of your images here so everyone can see you handiwork. Hope you don't mind.

Well done effort - much better than my first attempt!

I tend to have a soft spot for this model. The Jagdpanzer IV was the first armor model I even built way back in the 90's somewhere.

I put a question to the former curator of the Patton Museum, Charles R. Lemons just this morning:
QUESTION:
Charles - an historic Patton Museum question please . . . .
Is the camo on the Jagdpanzer IV by any chance original?
If not, just how far back do those patterns and colors go. Were they a close repaint to the original?
RESPONSE:
"Not original - but I think based on the original pattern. It was originally captured by the Brits in Normandy and there were excellent photographs taken of the vehicle from all directions when the Brits tested and examined the vehicle in 1944. The images are pretty well published and the vehicle was eventually repainted in the correct colors and pattern before we (the Patton Museum) got it."

They must have their Jagd's mixed up. The one in your pictures is a later version. Three return rollers is the give away. Normandy versions would have four. I wonder if they mean France, rather than Normandy.
Great pictures, and nice model.
I found a nifty feature on the forums called HIDE USER.
I was going to try it on myself and go stealth, but it only works on other users.

I'm not going to get in the middle of this, I am just trying to help. I asked the question and then reported the answer. The Patton Jagd (now at Benning) has a well recorded and documented history.
Normandy isn't part of France?????

it is certainly a Jagdpanzer IV L70A which was based on a Panzer IV Ausf J chassis, hence the three return rollers. According to the latest Osprey Duel book Cromwell v Jagdpanzer IV production commenced in August 1944. At that time the Allies were still trying to breakout from Normandy, and therefore it is just possible that both of you are right.

I am very curious about the vehicle, and this is why.
It is a Jagdpanzer IV with no zimmerit (dropped from production in September 1944), no muffler and metal rimmed road wheels. Features common to vehicles seen in late November and December. By that time Normandy was way in the rear.
Perhaps it was tested in Normandy and given to the US from there. I looked for it online and came up empty.

I too came up empty - only found a single photo of this vehicle in British hands with no other related info.
