And, there is a very good conversion of this available, too, if you’re interested in building one.

MiniArt and/or Takom should come out with this version. They would only need to add some extra parts to their existing kits...

Thanks for posting these ref pics. I especially like that last one with a dozer blade.
Were all these SLA Tiran APCs made from the Tiran-5 or Tiran-4? or both?

I've built the SKIF kit (South Lebanon APC-55 kit No. 242) and it's nice to have on the shelf as my first SLA blue model but it's the basic SKIF T-55 hull model which is basic and crude.
SKIF is the first to produce an SLA specific plastic model, that I know of. However, the turret and Tiran parts which include PE are usable to work from on a T-55 or T-54 platform from another company.
edit: I just realized that most of this was already described on page one already. i watched a scale plastic figure crawl along the edge . . . of an exacto blade . . . that's my dream , it's my nightmare . . . . . . . crawling , slithering . . . . . along the edge . . . . . . of an exacto . . . . . blade . . . . and surviving

Thanks for posting these great pics.looks like the M50 in pic 3 above was coated with hairspray before the SLA blue was applied?
I'm currently building the Tiran 4 from miniart and am going for the SLA colours as Mr mass has informed me that the 100mm barrel and turret basket are not accurate for depicting an IDF variant. I'm now hooked on the blue and blue/grey colour scheme anyway.
I have the Tiran in SLA use book but cannot seem to decide this.. did the SLA retain the stretcher brackets on the front of the hull or remove them completely? I'm pretty sure they dropped the stretchers but may have left the brackets?

Nige, I don't know if it was the hair spray technique. The sponge method could have been used there.
RR, thanks for the M50 pics. These will help because I want to also build the turretless SLA M50 APC!
