I'm calling the truck done. I weathered it lightly with a sandy/dusty coat of acrylic. I also added grease to the fifth wheel and added some chipping around it. A bit of fuel overflow was added to the fuel tank. I also added a cable and hook for the self-recovery winch on the right side.

Mated with the the Dragon Patriot PAC-3 launcher.

All of those added details paid off in accuracy. I dig your tire painting method, looks real.

KoSprueOne - Thanks for the compliments. I like how the tires came out too. It is a pretty easy method. I give them a liberal wash with acrylic paint thinned to the consistency of water. I let it dry a few minutes and then dab them with a paper towel to remove the excess on the sidewalls. The result is what you see. It works really well with deep lug tires like on a HEMTT.

Mike and Mike -Thanks for checking in and the compliments. It was a fun build and I really enjoyed adding the engine and all the interior details. Hmm, I think I have smelled that odor in my modeling room at times...or maybe that is another odor. Mmm, beans.

Not to seem ungrateful but that link only gives you access to about 50% of the pictures posted. I'll keep my thoughts about PhotoBucket to myself.

What I can see looks great though - thanks for the link

Regards,

Brad.
