This takes away the need to convert a Protze. This one's a must have for me. Cheers

Another resin kit in the stash becomes "worthless"
BUT, on the other hand, that old heap of resin wasn't all that exciting either
so this is a definite improvement

I've been wanting one of these for a really long time! This will work perfectly for the early-war dio that I had planned. Perhaps even an Anschluss dio, or Poland.

Oh yes, and the obvious question: when can we get hold of one?

I'm curious as to the documentation Bronco used to create the interior. To my knowledge, nothing exists that show the interior details of either the 6-rad or 4-rad SdKfz 247 models.

Far from it. Immediately list it on ebay. The price doesn't really drop until the plastic kit hits the shelves. I have sold several kits this way and made enough to buy the modern replacements.
