I can find dozen blades, but I was wondering if anyone makes the whole thing including the reservoir and lines that run all the way back and into the rear?

Only the front blade mechanisms are all I can find from scavenging through kits.

Maybe the old Verlinden set (#499) ? :

...But you may have a hard time finding it

All the dozer tank conversions only had the blade. An M732 engineer vehicle conversion might have had the reservoir and pipes. I'd wait for Afv-club to release their announced model.

Maybe the old Verlinden set (#499)

The Verlinden set is the most complete, if you can find it. It includes everything except the hoses that go under the hull. It has the left rear fender reservoir and tanks and the couplings for the hoses to go into the hull at the rear.

The other set, by Academy from their M60A1 w/Blade kit, is missing the reservoir and tank on the rear fender and the connectors for the hoses.

**Update**
It looks like the Legend IDF M9 Dozer Blade set (LF1140) comes with the rear fender reservoir as well. It looks just as complete as the Verlinden set. You may have to shave down the added stiffeners on the blade's lower corners, but the rest should be the same.

This build thread has some good TM drawings for the reservoir and plumbing.

The M728 CEV (Combat Engineer Vehicle) did not have the external (left rear fender) reservoir and hoses. All those items were internal since the vehicle was purpose-built and they were installed internally at the factory as opposed to a bolt-on kit.

Thanks guys, I knew you'd come through.

It looks like Verlinden or Legend are my best bet. I have that Academy blade that I've robbed from other kits, but even the details front business portion of the dozen kit is better in the Verlinden or Legend.

I've got the Tankograd book, MASSTER MERDC DualTex, and I'm wanting to put a blade on a guady painter MASSTER M60a1 - there lots of examples where the blades were painted with all sorts of bright black and yellow caution colors. Between the MASSTER and the high visibility stripes on the blade it'll certainly brighten up the collection of armor.

Verlinden, if you can find one, and if you're careful you can drill out all the hinges of movable parts and articulate it.

Not sure who's this is, it's been years, but it doesn't come with the reservoir for the back-left fender.

Not to hi-jack, but sure is a good time for a dozer kit for all those M48 kits on the market now.....

It correctly shouldn't. M728 CEVs had all the hydraulics internal since they were factory-made to be there, as opposed to the bolt on dozer tank kits.

Yup, on the M60A3 I made the piping running under the tank with thick solder

It's a shame that there isn't some way to review and even change what we write before it gets posted.

We say something ignorant or go off half cocked and we're stuck with it.

(Forehead smack) duh! M728 Cev, didn't even get the nomenclature right let alone the freaking reservoir. Learn to keep your mouth shut.
