Hi guys; building the old Testors/Italeri Sdkfz. 234 Puma (contest find, $10); dark yellow/dark green camo; am I correct in thinking chipping would reveal red oxide primer? thanks

It an artistic choice for sure, but given the short lifespan of those vehicles, I'd hesitate to do much if any paint chipping on an SdKfz 234. But to answer your question: red oxide would be a safe choice
