I assume the M109 propellant containers would be useful for other 155mm applications like the towed M198 or a future M777 as well? Please looking for any arty/redleg comments on the 155mm stuff here??? Many thanks

Are they turned brass, or all plastic?

If you look at the images provided, the ammo sets clearly say "BRASS", and the products' photos show metal ammunitions.
As for the M109 propellants and boxes, since the images don't specify the material, I should say plastic...

Yes, most of the 155 powder cans can be used with more modern howitzers as well. The current powder system (Modular Artillery Charge System - MACS) uses the powder can with the squared ends and is in sealed plastic drum-shaped packs; more packs get added as more range is needed. The others are good for earlier types of bag powders and were used until about 2006, when MACS came into use.

Now they have the shape for the propellant canisters, why no canisters for 120mm rounds for Abrams?

SABOTs, HEPs and HEATs. Now, if someone would make a honeycomb and ready-rack for the A1, I'd have someplace to put them.

I would have preferred "dunnage" drilled out empty casings with the primers inside. If I did scratch build a honeycomb all you'd see would be the butt plates so any details would be lost.
And will they be doing this set in dull aluminum too for ammo after the 1970s? Or do I have to repaint this beautiful brass flat aluminum?

Has this been released yet? Sixteen months after this post and can not seem to find any. Have they changed their mind on releasing this?
