Cool, I'll put that down on my list of future purchases.
Robin, this is an official news item post whilst that other post is not, although still appreciated.

I know
Since we already had a rather extensive conversation ongoing I thought I'd provide a link for those who might have missed it.
The official News items are easy to find whereas an ordinary discussion thread can be missed if the subject/title isn't exactly what one is looking for

Looking good. It looks like they toned down the cast texture on the turret. Can't wait to see how they do on the blade too.

Why are some of the parts shown above in OD plastic and others in a tan/yellow? Are these photos of a pre-production test run?
Seems like by now we should be seeing early builds of this kit.

This is AFV club. Look at how many delays there were with the M113. Let them take all the time they want if it makes the kit that much better. Dragon is known for being impatient and rushing out kits and look at their most recent releases.
You want this to be like AFV club M60A2 or like Dragons M60A2?

I have more faith that AFV Club will get it right! Much more so than some other hobby manufacturers.
It just seems that this one is a bit overdue arriving in the modeler's hands. Not the first time this might happen, won't be the last.
